Loan

The library will lend the documents in its collection to other CSIC libraries or other organizations following the regulations established in the CSIC library network. The request must be made through a duly accredited library or documentation center. The service has no cost when the supply is made to CSIC libraries. In all other cases, the corresponding interlibrary loan rates will apply.

HOW TO REQUEST A DOCUMENT

Through the link on the website of the library "Request for documents" that leads to the catalog of the CSIC Library and Archives Network. Once there, click on the link "Request documents" and authenticate with the credentials of the CSIC corporate Intranet. And then fill in the application form with the data of the document (article, book or book chapter) required.

SHIPPING

The requesting libraries undertake to use a delivery system that preserves the physical integrity of the document, they are responsible for the damage and deterioration produced in the requested documents and they will assume the costs of repair or replacement in case of loss.

RESTRICTED LOAN DOCUMENTS

THEY WILL ONLY BE LENDED WITH THE PERMISSION OF THEIR AUTHOR

  • Reference works
  • Newspaper publication
  • Valuable, rare, or badly damaged books
  • Manuals
